François Baroin is the Mayor of Troyes since 1995, and the French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry (2011-12), Minister of Budget, Public Accounts and State Reform (2010-11), Minister of Interior (2007) and Minister of Overseas Territories (2005-07). First elected as a Member of the French Parliament for the constituency of Aube in 1993, he became Mayor of Troyes in 1995 and has managed to keep his seat after four consecutive general election wins.
