Conny Czymoch is a well-respected current affairs journalist, television presenter, and facilitator. She has been a presenter and host for German news and current affairs TV station Phoenix for 15 years.
In 2012, she moderated at special sessions of UN ECOSOC, on Youth Unemployment, and for consecutive years she has been moderator at the European Development Days and chief moderator at the annual Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum. In 2010, she facilitated an International Conference on “Corporate Responsibility for Human Rights” with the UN Special Representative on human rights and transnational corporations, John Ruggie. In 2009, she was the first European journalist to moderate at the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York – a session on “Leadership and Solutions to End Human Trafficking and Forced Labour”.
Cyzmoch also coaches business and NGO executives for media communication, and has produced image films and documentaries for NGOs and corporations. She has worked for BMW, Daimler (Chrysler), Siemens, Carl Zeiss, SAP and Microsoft. She also regularly works with the federal ministries for research and development, economic co-operation, economics, as well as diverse EU Directorates. In 2009, she accompanied the UNHCR Council of Business Leaders to refugee camps in Southern Africa, and covered the trip via internet blogs and films.
