Jens Weidner specialises in anti-aggression training. After studying social sciences with an emphasis on criminology in Lüneburg, Tübingen and Philadelphia, Weidner began work with gang members from a variety of states. In 1987 he developed ‘Anti-Aggression Training’ for violent repeat offenders and implemented it at a youth prison in Germany. In 1991, halfway through the implementation of this program, he received a PhD in anti-aggression training.
Following the completion of this program in 1995, he became a Professor of Education & Criminology at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
Weidner’s experiences helped him write “The Pepperoni Strategy: How you use your natural aggression constructively” (2005) which featured as a #1 bestseller in the Financial Times Germany for 33 weeks and has now also been published in countries such as Korea, Taiwan, Poland, Spain and Russia.
